Def a very fresh perspective. Like the presentation here. The inclusion of the leaves on top also adds a lot to the image.

This is a winning image in my view. Images like this gives us lots of satisfaction about the purpose/vision with which we have started CNP. We have been encouraging friends to think differently and do some of their own images rather than matching our friends' similar "nice" bird/tiger portraits. During last one year+ we have been seeing remarkably unique and interesting perspectives by many folks here on CNP. While we continue our journey in this path what will add further is keeping the focus on basics - exposure, use of sturdy tripod, precise handling, post processing. An image may look good on Web but if we want to make a large print we should keep basics in mind before pressing the trigger.

That was a generic comment. Back to this image very fresh perspective and an innovative image here Adithya. Great images can happen in our own backyards, not necessarily only in Ngorongoro Craters or at Corbet National Park. Congrats on this one..

Yes, CNP has changed our way of seeing. It's motivating us to strive for new perspectives.
I have not yet caliberated my monitor. So please excuse me for the exposure & PP. ( I have bought a hardware caliberation device. Unfortunately it's not working with my monitor. )

Adhithya, that was my general observation/comment about the some of the very creative images posted in CNP. Not for this particular image. Exposure looks perfect here. Just a bit of sharpness would add. Furtunately, photography basics are very easy to fix but "seeing" is not !!

excellent perspective here....what i liked in the frame is the directions in which the ants are moving...its like the last seen in a drama...all actors leaving the stage....our life is also like this....many come and go but nature still lives on for ever....

Adithya, This one of the best recent new way of seeing. When I saw this in the morning (my time) I could not comment as my net connection went off. You have a very right DoF to capture clouds pattern along with Ants. Also part of the tree make a very valid presence. Well done !

There's only one comment from me Adithya, Could you have painted the tree on the top with light ? Flashlight or something ? I am sure even the green would have looked good too. Very unique vision and I agree with others if the mind is open then place can not be the limitation which is well depicted in your image. My compliments.

Aditya, its killer! Yes you dont have to go to "Ngorongoro Craters or at Corbet National Park" to make great pics as Ganesh put it. Its a very wise execution and the clouds and the tree on top make a very nice and Nature rich frame for the ants. Just wondering what the perch is. Is it a wire or something? Also the back light works well by the shining light passing through the bodies of the ants. Great seeing

@ Praveen- As I have studied in a drama school for two years your interpretation becomes too intimate for me. Thanx so much.
@Nilanjan- I have not thought of light painting at the time shooting. But , will that make tree taking too much attention? But definately will try your suggestion.
@Sriharsha- yes, it's a wire. I wish it had some curves in it. ;-
