This is a very interesting composition for me. The falls behind doesn't distract me from the frog too much because of the slow shutter speed setting. I would may be crop off the tiny branch on the top center of the image. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent image Kaushik ! Typical of our Western Ghats but not seen this way ! Nice presence of mind to frame the frog with the falls in the backdrop which perfectly balances the composition too. I think the image may benefit a by opening it up just a bit. Thanks for sharing..
This is such an amazing perspective, I think the golden frog on the red rock with a lovely backdrop comes together for a fine setting. Everything is so well linked ecologically and compositionally.
This is one of the best frog perspectives that I have seen. The mood and feelings in the image conveys a very strong message. Recently quite a few images by many contributors have been just awesome in terms of both seeing and making images of such visions. This one too is no different. For my eyes and mind, images like these carry more meaning than a technically perfect image where the image clearly indicates a forceful use of technique to capture attention. They do capture the eyes but not the mind .
Nice macro scape! The slow shutter speed seems to have worked wonders, with the unusual blending of the silky water fall in the BG and the frog in the FG (lucky it stayed still).
This is really creative Kaushik. I can feel the moisture in my feet and the rushing water echoes in my ears. Love the placement of the frog in the frame and its size. I believe a tad more opening will help to make it much better.
