A very different and refreshing Tiger image indeed Adi! I love the way the ears and the tail hold the attention of the viewer. The darkness into which the tiger is waking into is very poignant. The mood is simply super!!!
Am glad you stayed away from the conventional pictures, you can make them on any other trip, but not images like these. These come once in a life time!!!

Once in a while a visual comes along which is still untamed in its conception and execution. This one belongs to that category. It at once arouses so many feelings....the most prominent being the loss. today we can actually count the tigers on our fingers and unfortunately if we loose them forever...this image would come back again ang again to haunt. It puts me in a frame which I would call a predated nostalgia. The image has a tremendous "conservation appeal" ...borrowing VMR's words.

Loved the story behind image Aditya, this shot could be used for the "save the tiger campaign" because the tiger is walking away from us into the darkness.

Phenomenal image Adithya! Story behind the image is powerful too. Fantastic effort in penning down the feelings that you experienced. It's the most toughest tasks. Everything seems to have converged in this image. Mysterious nature of Tiger and the prominent darkness in the frame is just perfect. Anyone can make a perfect portrait given an opportunity. Images like these are rare. Am very happy that you didn't "delete" this image in the camera. I have heard many people say so and it hurts!

This is so brilliant! So much unconventional and so much unique. For me the shakes and blurs in the whole image which make is so unique. They bring dynamism for the composition. The darkness is very much symbolic for the present situation. The stripes on the tail and the prominent ears are icing on the cake. A brilliant image overall. Kudos and thanks for sharing.

Truly mystique!! A very very different and fresh image indeed...

I had problem with my both Macs so my commenting was out. This I would rate as an iconic tiger image. The last year I picked two tiger images, yours is the third. Glad that there is a forum like CNP which addresses blurs and other images.

How did I miss this one ? Now, since most of the good words have been said about this image already, I have nothing left to say which would be new, so I decide to sit back enjoy seeing this image and can assure you that I will never forget this image ever. Very true, I doubt if you or anybody else would get a chance to make a tiger image like this again. Pity those who think image blurs are beyond the scope of photography, god forgive them as they do not even know what they are missing in life ferrying between blurs and sharpness. . Just look at the grass in front, am feeling as if the tiger is still walking into a future decided by nature. Why would I ever want to see non sense tiger images of people if I have seen this one ? You made appreciating tiger images even more difficult Adithya. .
