good sight to catch, love the texture..... I may remove few pixels from bottom if it is mine....best lighting condition preserved to expose front and trees at back

This is excellent seeing Arun - I am born and brought up in this region - it composition is non-trivial for me. Those whites and mist (?) makes the image for me - A large wall hanger for sure..

WOW this is an outstanding image. I love it for its simplicity, its graphical nature, for the beautiful texture and for the lovely pattern which you have isolated so very well. The mist descending from the top according to me sets the stage for this very simple yet memorable image. TFS

Thank you all for the comments. The image was made more than a year ago.. While I don't entirely remember if the top center portion is descending mist, if I am right it was open sky behind the thin patch of betel net trees, while the lower portion had some vegetation.

Ganesh, I am not sure if you guessed the region right; this image was made in Wayanad.

wonderful lines 'n texture, arun. like the graphical inclination and bit sense of mystery it evokes. was camera flash used here?

This is really different! I have walked amidst the beetle nut trees innumerable times but failed to get such an image! All elements have mixed amazingly well in making this image... The mood is just superb. Loved it all the way!
