Sometimes i feel like calling your photography as "Instinctively Natural Creative Nature Photography"

Simplicity and the caption makes the image even more special for me.

Interesting image and I have been looking at the image for a while now, and dont know why, but I am captivated by it. The foot print and the flower and its petals on either side, seem to be telling me a story of something lost, something forgotten, something sad...
Is it just my frame of mind or do others feel it too? Am I a guys who sees the glass half empty?

Harsha, I think Nirlep tried to show how we knowingly or unknowingly are engaged in crushing nature, uprooting it. Probably with every footstep man takes no matter how remote the place may be, nature seems to get trampled in the name of civilization and development. High time we learn to see the lovely flowers bloom and live it's full life than being crushed under our feet. Nirlep..... SALUTE YOU BUDDY....

This 10 that you see in the rating is not accidental, I could not hold myself back and had to give a perfect 10 to the finest philosopher and thinker we proudly have in this forum. Nirlep, I learn and gather courage and inspiration not only from your images but every thoughtful comments. Since CNP is also a platform for the thinking mind, I thought I would go ahead and rate the thoughts which created this image. I am left speechless by this creation of yours. Many hugs dear.... we will celebrate this image when you are in Kolkata next time.

Nirlep, what I like most about your compositions is they are -

1. Effortless and conveys a subtle not so subjective message.
2. Remains very truthful to the medium (purity) yet they are art! This is a wonderful attribute. They are **art just off the camera**. You are not spending hours thinking about subtly burning/dodging/converting to B&W (like several of us do) to create a mood - nothing wrong with this latter approach but it is a kind of "strenuous art" in my view :)

Art out of the camera rooted solely in simpler, cleaner and uncluttered visions - Isn't that great ?

Thanks for sharing Nirlep...

This image was so simple (in a way) yet attractive and on my mind for a while, similar to what Sriharsha had mentioned. Explanation of Nilanji ji just boosted it up to the top. Nice shot and great story behind Nirlep.

10 as Nilanjan suggests. Simple - art out of camera - too many things corss my mind. I prefer watching this for a long time and enjoy my mind's deliberations. Thanks for a wonderful piece of art Nirlep.

My dears!
I bow to thee for your comments. Your response has overwhelmed me. Now that you've expressed what you felt seeing the image I too should pen down my feelings.
I had just moved out into the lawn and came back to get something when I saw my footmark and flowers on the threshold. Flowers bracketing the footstep was heart –warming. Initially it looked like something intimate such as co-existence of nature and culture.. Later, other meanings started surfacing like ephemerality, departing, ageing, renewal, displacing. All this collected in some corner of my mind, still not placed in context till this post. The image would’ve remained an abstraction but your observations made me think and place my thoughts thereby completing the picture a year after it was taken. Thanks for pulling the rear curtain for me through flash of your observations.
thanks once again

This image tells me Simplicity is so powerful. Absolutely amazing. For me, the pattern of the chipped floor (due to what ever reasons) adds a feeling of repetitive occurrence of something which has left its mark as a reminder. Yet the occurrence has not stopped. Very inspiring on Sir.
