The simplicity on this one makes me reminded of Andreas Gurskys' Rhine river photograph that got sold by $4.3 million, and I like this much more than that one :). Wanna try auctioning it?

Lovely image Nevil. It looks like sand in desert.. next second it looks like a huge wave in the sea (if I imagine it to be so)

Love this one Nevil. Different bands of light and lines makes it mysterious. The slanted lines above adds a lot to the composition. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Nevil,
"Different bands of light and lines makes it mysterious." Ganesh's words describe it aptly. It is a mysterious depiction done with simplest of elements. One would be tempted to "include" something in the frame but there's a thin line whether to do it or not. By keeping it simple you've brought us magic. Untrammelled.

thanks everyone for words of appreciation.

@sandeep,
it's a looooog way to go or even think of comparing with such a masterpieces. thanks for the motivating words. you see, here i have already fetched $5 million above, that too without selling :))

@nirlep,
yes, the temptation to include or not to include was there in my mind, but due to scorching heat i couldn't find anything and there was no more a dilemma!

regards.
