Wonderful image RD. Loved it! The random (yet symmetrical in some sense?) movement of the bees and their motion blur is adding amazingly well. What is the icing on the cake is those relatively still bees! Wonderful one from you. Thanks for sharing.
Loved this image RD, agree with Ashwini on the random+symmetrical placement of the bees.. slight grains of noise at the bottom of the frame leading up to a clear white at the top gives it an 'emergent' feel
Hi RD, I wouldn't have been able to tell bees from birds without your description. manifestation of life..as random as it comes..bee spots might just be moments in our lives. What your art of clutter tells me is that life does not necessarily come in packets of order. It is equally the domain of randomness which does not essentially mean disorder. Order is an internal thing not externally forced as societies have come to believe. These images assault my ordered senses making me shed a lot. A beautiful unlearning journey. Life can be lived like a bee, ant, grass. A big hug!
This is easily the best image I have seen in recent times....RD you have bloody taken off man, is it the single malt which is doing the trick ? Am falling in love with your CLUTTER word now, the meaning has completely changed, love you man for such a wonderful gift. Why did you not caption this image as Art of Clutter, I would have done it. The very concept of order, chaos , order in chaos and disorder within order is taking a new leap holding your hands. The master Wordsworth of our forum and my beloved Pa ji has said it perfectly.....A beautiful UNLEARNING journey......if you are seeing this Pa ji then I have to say this to you......" PAIRI POUNA PA JI ".....
An exercise in elegant simplicity. Just brilliant. I may be nitpicking here but there are 2 bees that are partially cropped at the top of the frame. Cropping them out entirely may enhance the already amazing image.
Wonderful image, RD! The random movement of these wandering bees represent my current mindset I would have liked if there were more bees in the frame. Just loved the image. TFS
aha, i can keep seeing this image for a very long time....though it remembers me the image of Aditya UN (of ant), but this one is totally different from that one....i too feel this can also have the title "art of clutter"
Remember what did I tell you last Saturday, we are seeing a very different RD oflate and this image is total proof of that. The high key is clearly the element which puts it on top and the bees are placed (if one could call it that) wonderfully well. Great seeing and great execution here.
Thanks friends. I'm happy i could induce the word 'Clutter' to most of you looking at this image. I had titled it as Random Thoughts : Art of Clutter :, but to give a twist and see what others think, i didnot give a title. @Nirlep: journey of unlearning, i have too many things in my mind, we should have a tête-à-tête. See your influence, i'm searching for new words now -RD
