Nice feel you have created here, the ripple adds a lot to the image, the autumn leaf brings more life to it. The watercolor effect on the sky is very nice.

Very nice Jayesh....probably one of the most beautiful place on earth but never peaceful on the surface. The inner peace of the valley can be sensed from this. Not only the place but even the people of Kashmir are paying the price of being so very beautiful.

Water painting for me! Absolutely beautiful image Jayesh bhai. how about lesser sharpness and details on the fallen leaves?

Jayesh.......its a very pleasing image throwing up a lot more than what one sees, the context of Kashmir, immediately adds to this image...a fragility, fragmentation and turmoil nestling amongst the pretty colours..
the reflection of the leaves, still overhead...seem to be in an intimate conversation through the ripples..with the departed single leaf on the water...
an image which sets your mind racing through various possible interpretations...is so alive..

Concentric ripples and leaves beautifully stand out against the reflected backdrop of the sky here. Absence of darker tree reflections would have added but probably this is what nature has to offer to you then. In my view the absence of the darker reflections would have helped me base my philosophical thoughts more firmly starting at those concentric circles and then taking off from there. A fine image here Jayesh..

This is like painting on water. Love the way the mood is brought up in the reflections of sky, trees adding to the drama the leaves created.
The fallen leaf with ripples around is able to transport the viewer to the scene giving a feeling that all this is happening right there in front of us.
Excellent visual. TFS.

Amazing image... leaf on the left side of the frame is giving a 3D effect and i feel like touching the leaf.
Ripple and clouds are adding to the image and making it more poetic... TFS

I can see remnants of Renoir in this! Love the reflecting clouds in the water and the ripples add a strong sense of surreal feel to the image. The color of the leaves are striking and even the drowned ones have the beautiful color which make them stand out. Lovely setting

Thanks all for valuable feedback & interpretations.

Pramod Viswanath : Me too felt the same ,but checked original raw file ( My default sharpness setting ::0 ) &
its not significantly different from the processed one. I dont know if better PP can be of any help here :)

Nilanjan: Yes ! Its the most beautiful place i have ever visited. Honestly, the visible presence of Military was the only clue that we were on a troubled land
,Otherwise it was quite peaceful ..Yes,the scars of old wounds were evident. Fortunately the new generation of kashmir wish to stay with india & i feel thats
very positive sign.
Nilu :: Simply Loved the way you related it with kashmir. Thanks...

Beautiful, Jayesh! The ripples have given a nice feel to the image. Just looks like a painting. Tweaking contrast and saturation a bit may enhance IMO. TFS

I would be really sad if the new generation wishes that, but then this is perhaps not the place to discuss such issues. One day when we meet :-)....no matter what, lovely image here.
