Very nice Neelu...would look brilliant on print.. i dont know if its my screen , but perhaps it could have been a tad bit brighter..Just my opinion.

I would not brighten it, the thinker looks awesome on my screen. :-). Though I do not find anything much creative in this frame, but it's good to look at surely, processing is beautiful, in fact I like your subtle low contrast monochrome processing, specially the closed eyes are working for me.

Sacha, thank you....ive been struggling with "how bright or not...which changes with every 2degree change in angle of my laptop screen.. as i see it the soft subtle look processing has been intentional..more so ..to be in tune with the "closed eyes"... just my choice at that point in time.

Nilanjan..agree theres not much creativity ..its a simple portrait....however i waited for the closed eyelids.and found it intriguing ,..and thts what makes this different IMO. my decision to go subtle low contrast was really to add a mood and a feel ...for this "thinker"..as u well named him..

Liked the low key treatment goes with the pensive mood. Nicely done expressive image

Brilliant shot Neelu! Yes the processing is perfect for my taste and I would keep it as is. Like the way the negative space on the left is adding to the frame.

This is really nice Neela, simple portrait at its best with clean processing. The closed eyes makes it perfect and it really is intriguing.

This is brilliant, Neelu! Just love the expression. However if I have to choose between the color one and this one probably I would prefer color version. I feel the color version has the right mood to my taste buds. TFS

Rajkumar, Harsha,Bharath, thank you, means a lot. i think i love animal portraits, and with all the wonderful discussions on "signature styles"....would be nice to develop a style and then break out of it...i think.

Prashanth, thank you, i guess the colored one does have warmth, a monochrome has its own charm..good to have differing veiwpoints.

Beauty. Love the soft muted feel to the image and the primates expression is perfect.
