Trees in winter
Stripping the trees bare, winter announced its arrival. The chill floated around and a strange melancholy set in. A feeling that could not be explained as winter spread its presence everywhere. I've always felt that winter in someway forces us to reflect upon ourselves and clean our souls the way the trees shed their leaves and ready themselves for a new beginning.

Great thought to go with good image Tharangini. Unfortunately humans think that they have become wiser with one more year of experience :( Hope trees teaches us some day..

Thanks Rachana, Thanks Ravi, yes experience is supposed to bring wisdom, but somehow that part gets missed out conveniently a lot of times. I guess the trees are always teaching us new things as long as we are open to learning...Thanks again...

Love the way layers of coolness makes this so captivating n meditative as well. Lovely write-up to echo the feelings, Tharangini. Yes, Ravi, let us learn from trees.
Regards.

Wonderful image and nice thoughts Tharangini. It looks very little over sharpened for me (may be its only me).
