Love his thought provoking gesture n the treatment, Tharangini. Grains adds a lot to subtleness of tones.
Tfs.

A very fine moody image here Tharangini.

To enhance the mood I would go with removing a few pixels from the top and have some more in the bottom. i.e. a bit more darker space in the bottom.

for some reason, that twig in the hand adds a lot of meaning

Thank you so much Nevilji, Adithya & Rajkumar. @Nevilji - I am glad the grains worked for you. It was a challenge to keep it from becoming too much or too little.
@Adithya - Now that you have pointed it out, it does seem like a great value add to the image. Unfortunately this is a full frame image, so no scope for adding more pixels in the bottom. can try making it a bit darker though. Was trying to maintain the slight highlight of the tail too in the process. If I succeed I'll share it again.
@Rajkumar - Yes the twig does give a lost in thought effect...:)

Thanks again..
