Pause
Pause is a very interesting theme! Pause implies time.

As per dictionary,

Time

noun

"the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole."

Pause

noun

"a temporary stop in action or speech."

Interestingly definition of time needs time itself! (past/present/future) and pause has time in it.

In science/nature, past, present and future are all meaningless. They all are relative (thanks to Einstein) and exist together at the same time. Time alone loses its meaning and becomes an illusion, so does pause. That is probably the real nature of our time! A profound beauty of Nature which we probably don't understand fully.

However, for some of us, the lesser mortals, (and who may consider ourselves as 'poets'), time relates to birth, death and the events that occur in between that make us happy, sad and indifferent. Some of those may turn into our memories as frozen time. This probably is a poetic way of understanding time. Pause for us may just be the snippets of time when nothing happens (or something happens profoundly, within?).

What we mean by nothing? What is within? Is that what we have created for ourselves or exists intrinsically?

Let me take a pause here..

Pause is an illusion of "motionless" ,
motion is time dependent, when time "alone" is illusion,
illusion of "stopped" in the illusion of "time" is pause ?

RD, wait a second..

I am not sure whether "pause" lives in objective world as much as "time" does. May be it does. If so, you may be right!

Wonderful image Ganesh. Made my hearth skip a beat. I really liked the way you have differentiated time from scientific eye to our perception.

Pause for us may just be the snippets of time when nothing happens (or something happens profoundly, within?)

I agree with the later. A moment of silence dawns when there is churning going on inside. I think similar(?) pause happens when there are less thoughts, which probably occurs when we look at vast scapes such as ocean, mountain valleys etc..
