Looks like two souls flying away from earth, Ganesh. Here the grains looking more realistic compared to when added using Nikpro. Is this capture one's preset or something else you are using for this. BTW, again I went through your article where you had shared your learnings from your experiments with film grain, digital noise and presets. Here is the Link . Would you like to add anything more to it, Ganesh?

Prashanth, I have added the real grain to this image using a software called True Grain which I had bought a few years ago. Instead of simulating the grain the software does what I did in the other thread you shared. It overlays the actual grain and does some processing to take care of grain intensity and density in high key/low key areas etc. I have added a link back from the other thread to this post.

Thanks Ganesh! I can see that the grain is not added uniformly across the frame. The algorithm must be doing pixel by pixel or combination of pixels plus cluster of pixels. It'll be interesting to see how it translates on to a print. Even the sensor noise looks so good on print this grain should even look better. I'm curious to know how this software handles the sensor noise.
Now I'm viewing this on a glossy media, but ideal media would be on a print. This tells me why the print sharing meet all the more important.
