Ramesh, if they are still there you may want to make a few more images with more DOF, if you don't have them already..

Just curious, do those larvae fall down from the filament or they crawl down?

Thanks, Rahul and Ganesh.

Ganesh, larvae started emerging around 1:00PM on 23 Apr and by 3:00PM, most eggs had hatched. They hung onto the eggs for quite sometime. When I checked on them in the evening, larvae were crawling onto the wire and by night they were all gone! I could not find them again anywhere nearby. They are very tiny as such.

Too many field constraints for better DOF: I had taken several shots after stopping down. But there were too many of eggs/larvae and they were positioned at different distances. They used to sway a lot with the slightest breeze (this ruled out focus stacking). Had to keep the shutter speed high too. And the eggs/larvae being tiny and almost 1:1 magnification didn't help either. Finally had to be happy with what I got: some in sharp focus, and many out of focus.

Absolutely incredible moment unfolding a magical slice of time!, Ramesh. This image shall remain on my mind n heart for long long time.
Apart from print, it also seem to be a good candidate for any nature related competition.
Regards.

What a moment to witness, Ramesh. You did great given the conditions and working with Macro is tough with such little beings.
I am sure you would have sweated a lot doing this... :-D
Loved this series and hope your wire attracts the crop for all these lacewings.
