Any reason to keep the ratio like this versus a more favored vertical rectangle which brings an immediate comparison of ground and pregnant skies above. Do you think that composition holds any potential or is it too predictable / done already?

Vageesha, this composition was kind of forced on me due to some crops I had to do to eliminate a slightly distracting elements on left and right.

Love the mood n colours of Kaas, Ganesh. Must be seductive for Megh too!

The colors and brightness are beautiful tuned to giving the moody feeling. (It looks like it is a long way to go and we will be wet before we are reaching home.)
