What are we saving here ?
A Bimaculated Lark, killed by the sharp end of a fence, while in flight at the Desert National Park. Home to the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard, a large area of the park is protected with a wire fence to prevent the entry of grazing animals which destroy the eggs of these birds. However, this image reveals an indirect consequence of these protective measures, and of human interference.

Jayesh! A high impact visual for sure, skillfully executed (pun intended) and composed. Yes, we seem to solve some and create new ones, without our knowledge. This image will stay in the memory forever...

Hard hitting image Jayesh, Liked the bright light behind the bird and the overall image is having a huge impact on viewer.

Smart to use a fisheye. The bird gets small in the image, but we see her at once anyhow, and looks only more vulnerable.
