Remains of the day.. (shot on film)
Kodak xx (250 iso) Black and white film, pushed to 400. Developed at home and digitalized using a dslr. Thia film is a cinematic film, sold in bulk roll of 400 feet and then respooled into 35mm cannisters. The movie schiendlers list was shot on this film. To achieve the high contrast effect, this was shot a little over exposed into a back lit scene, then a little extra development time along with more frequent agitations.

Thank you Nevil! I am lucky, I get help with bulk loaded rolls.. People buy the bulk rolls and then resell them. As for the film, and it being unforgiving, actually that depends and varies from film to film. This specific film is not forgiving when it comes to highlights, so I've taken advantage of that here.. Some films even at 3 plus stops you can still see texture and detail in the highlights.
The sharp comes from the 60mm macro I used to shoot this.. I also used the same lens to digitalize it using my dslr..
