Simply love this!, Ganesh. The way shimmering reflection treated the edges, have made this for me.

Still wondering...
If I would have waited for separation between the two merging elephants? A little more glitter and contrast in water? Making this a BnW? or playing more around with the colours?
Still wondering what makes this image for you?
Also I am not aware of the challenges of tracking and shooting elephants, so...

Thanks, Sarthak. I think B&W conversion may work better. I am not sure of the separation since it is balance between "visual separation" attribute and "emotional togetherness" of the mother and the young one. Many times I used to keep my subjects blurred, not because to make it appear "different" but because to hint at something and leave it there. Crisper definition of elements in the frame often leads to triggering tangential unintended message leading to local analysis of the variety of elements in the frame deviating from larger nuanced view of the entire frame. That said, now I often do some high definition works with a different, philosophical reason of wondering about the nature.

Very nice analysis here Ganesh. Can't agree more.
