Nature Accounted
This image is supposed to be seen as a print to experience its nuances. In its native resolution this is a 5 ft x 5 ft print at 300dpi (2.38GB file). Anyway, I am posting a far smaller version of it. I individually photographed each of the cross sections, stacked and merged. Reduced about 1500 images into one single super high resolution image. I wanted to arrange these individual images in the way they get typically arranged in a timber yard. That led to this collage. If you have a larger display you may view this here.
About the image itself, we are an interesting species in this mother nature! Let me leave it at that.

Hard hitting image Ganesh. I think we feel that only we have every right to do whatever to Mother nature since only our species knows 'Science' and 'Maths'. But...
