Welcome back, Ameya. Yes, we have an interesting new gallery thanks to the new energetic CNP team which is behind these new initiatives!

I love the conscious choice of what to keep it in B&W and in color. Yes, we have not succeeded in making 'life' yet. I wish we will never be able to.

Life well framed, Ameya! I would've tempted to exclude the upper portion of the tree.
Regarding this new gallery, we want to see some new experiments with respect to processing and other technically new way of making images with maintaining the creative and artistic approach which is the foundation of this forum.
Please share more of your work, that's the only way to compensate your absence ;)

Regards,
Prashanth

The inevitable happens. Nature reclaims her dominion regardless. Relentless her workings. I'm reminded of a Poem "Grass", in fact a very powerful poem, later adapted by Punjabi poet Avtar Pash.

Love the way you've worked layers to maximum effect.

Hello everyone thanks a lot for putting in your views.
It’s always great learning while going through your comments.

From last few years I have been trying to make such images particularly keeping Human and Nature elements in mind trying to correlate it with each other.
Sometimes I merge images and sometimes do selective coloring effect like I have done in picture above.
I was not sure whether this type of photography is acceptable or not, still m not sure. But I believe it will be atleast seen as a piece of art.

The moment I reached this place I felt like humans dominance over nature.
How we humans are encroaching everyday little by little and giving nature very little space to survive that it looked like just a another frame hanging on wall from the history.
But because it is present I thought to keep it in color to give it a feel of present.

Once again Thanks a lot and wish you all very happy new year... :)
