Lighting is superb. May look good even without selective colouring.

I don't wanted the distraction on other colors in picture, as a color of sand was very much similar to the color of Deer it was kind of merging into it.
And I wanted to make Deer stand out so did the selective coloring. Hope it make sense...

Esp. like the defocus that adds thin soft fur profile!, Ameya. Nice separation with selective processing, but have you tried with shallower DOF?
