Just another day in the woods : Spirit of the forest
The forests of Corbett with Sal and other trees looked very special. Dense moist deciduous forest of this region is very much different than the evergreen forests where I live. During my visit I tried to make several images using multiple exposure to depict the 'spirit of the forest'. Here is one such image.

As always waiting for your views.

You seem to have discovered an interesting technique here, Adithya. I like the impressionist appeal.

Excellent series, Adithya! It's very difficult to get the desired effect. Technical aspect of achieving what you've visualised is one thing but pre-visualising something in these kind of images itself is an achievement for me. I think you kept improving with each image.

Regarding this image, I like the impressionistic feel of the image. My personal view is that this image may look better on print than the glossy media, also it might get the depth on print.

For me this image is a perfect candidate for experiments, be it processing or printing. I'm just curious to see different experiments with tonality management, sharpness(or softer version) etc of this in print. Wish you had bit more time to experiment with the same subject.

Once again this is an excellent series, keep experimenting. And print these before next print sharing meet :)

Regards,
Prashanth

Adithya, if you watch from a distance, this resembles colonial period oil canvas.
