Frog in Water
I found this floating frog interesting and tried make use of the flare to emphasize parts of the frog. Converted to monotone as I liked it better. Love to know your thoughts..

mindboggling!, gangeshji, i mean it literally. very creative and unusual portrait, is it the monochrome version that makes it more so?. colour version too must be looking great.

regards.

Excellent image, Ganesh. B&W is good choice giving it a nice mood. It must have been muddy waters too, isn't it? B&W helps there as well. TFS.

simply a WOW shot for me.. beautiful.. conversion to monochrome works great for me.. nice feel it gives as well as makes the whole frame look a lot cleaner than it actually would be... and the dead center composition works like a charm.. btw, how will having one small bubble somewhere in the frame affect this composition?

Thanks friends !

Nevil, color version is here in this thread.

Swaheel, with the bubble I may need to go for off centered compo - which may work well too..
Ramesh, you right, water though was not muddy there were a few tiny floating materials..

Simple and very elegant presentation. Certainly liked the monochrome presentation here. Might only off-centre the frog (displace it slightly towards the top). Liked the subtle toning u've provided (a very mild reddish/brown tone).
Saw the colour version; and in this case, the monochrome does look better IMO.

Yes, monochrome gives it a big 'PUNCH' of creativity. Lovley image
