Vulture - A Perspective
I made this image today at Ramanagaram. One of my recent conclusion about best light for photography is the bad light :) I am exploring new possiblities of using what is considered bad light. Love the separation of black and white with an embedded trace of an Indian vulture. Love to know your thoughts.

Its different Ganesh! The sepeartion of the dark area, the clouds, the geometrical shape of the rocks and the trace of the bird really make the image stand out. The only thing that I wished was presence of some more thick/dark clouds which might have enhanced the impact.

Ganesh, I liked your words..best light for photography is bad light. It's like Zen and art of Photography. BTW liked your image very much. Simplicity and vulture is suited very well for semi silhouette images like this one.

great image sir....abstract,contemporary.....the graphics of the image is good...as aswini suggested bit more of cloud patterns would have changed the mood to greater levels....but we have to take what nature offers....i would like to add one more quote.."search for darkness ...u'll see light"....

Extreme conditions, extreme thoughts and what a well made image this is, I should show courage to move with my equipment in this pouring rain, I agree with Praveen on the quote.

Enchanting image Ganesh. Everytime you go there you manage to find a different perspective in the hills there! It shows how to 'Create' opportunities amidst difficulties! Awesome image to say the least.

I too feel that for creative photography nothing is taboo ... this is one beautiful proof of it ... Beautiful Image ... I only feel that the sky could be burnt a bit for extracting the cloud details more ...

Ganesh - If you permit I would like to put my version in the illustration forum

Everytime you land up in Ramanagaram you get to come back with a different perspective of the LBV. I liked this image for the overall simplicity. The dark and light portions of the image really tends to balance well.

amazing balance of elements and structure. This image teaches several lessons even to the uninitiated (such as myself).
