Eyes of Water
I made this image at a pond near Ramanagar. Chose a very low angle possible to emphasize the eyes and its posture. This clubbed with calm water seem to create a unique feel for my taste - love to know your thoughts however..

Beautiful! This is a PERFECT image! I mean, the composition is great. The subject placed off centre on the vertical axis and the precise space left in the lower part of the frame is great because of the frog's extended arms. And the colours of the subject and the background are so well-contrasted and have such a soothing effect. Beautifully made. Can't find any flaws with this!

The Head-on angle of the shot is Xcellent and Very Interesting ... may be a little contrast and saturation boost will give it more punch ... pls have a look at this - http://www.geocities.com/subharghya/frog.jpg

Amazing perspective Ganesh. I agree with Gowri regarding the vertical axis and regarding Das' suggestion on contrast, I love the way it is than increasing the contrast as it is conveying more subtle feelings...just my thoughts.

Lovely image. Liked it all the way. Das' suggestion surely makes it more colourful & adds the punch, but at the same time it is looking very aggressive (the overall image i meant - not the frog).
Personally I liked the original.

Classic Ganesh!! The eye level perspective really stands out! I too would have preferred a slightly better contrast as Das pointed.

Das, sincere thanks for taking time to show us an alternate view. Here are my thoughts on the same.

This for me is a sublime image, mainly because the subject is such a simple and easy one, the framing and the point of focus on the eyes and the comp make a very ordinary spectacle of nature into a spell binding one. It is exactly images like this form the spirit of CNP, local subject .... global impact.

A very sublime image Ganesh. Like the simplicity in the colours and presentation along with emphasis on the eyes.
Personally i liked the original version.

Ganesh ji,The angle, the Muddy Water, the complimentary color of the subject and biggest strength of this image is the Composition.
