Agree with u on shadows Ganesh. Apart from showing the depth, shadows also emphasize on the subject strongly. That apart, initially I was tempted to suggest pushing the eggs down in the frame (off.centering them) & giving more space on top, but later withdrew that thought because the emphasis on the eggs is more when it is placed in the centre.
I loved it as an aptitude question 6,5,6,2,4 what next? Wonderful image Ganesh, the brown and cream on green with black shadow, filled life into the ones which are yet to come to life.
I liked the arrangement here and the systematic nature of egg laying, the colours also look lovely. We could spend hours doing frogs differently especially with Gururaj on your side.
Agree with VMR. I always thought nature photography is lot more meaningful if we go with a field biologist. "the brown and cream on green with black shadow, filled life into the ones which are yet to come to life." - If we have those information then images can visualized and made very differently - both from creative and natural history perspective. Thanks so much Gururaj.
great pattern in nature, for people like me they may go spotless. love your creative vision. somehow here i find the image little too sharp and the glow little artificial (i know about the flash light, but how about removing blues with white balance?).
ganeshji, i am still an amateur. many times i may be wrong or simply that's how i would prefer, as many things has more than one answer. i would always love to read about your opinion or critics.
That picture and Dr Gururaja's words of "....filled life into the ones which are yet to come to life." has made it my day. What a powerful combination of words and visuals this is. I dont have anything to say but just admire the beauty that is Nature around us. Kudos! to everyone on the Frog team. Your guys Croak!
