Snail and a Branch
I made this image y'day at Ramnagar. The snail and the branch was in some very inconvenient location to photograph. I decided to make an image of it from a very low angle (whole body is aching today :( ) When I saw this through the viewfinder the whole arrangement looked interesting. Love to know your thoughts. Another image of it is here in illustration forum. Love to what appeals to you most (if at all it does!) and why.

I really liked how an difficult angle was made to work .The clouds and the sky make the image, the placement of the snail in the frame and the scale of the plant works fantastically, I liked the presentation overall.

I like this version too but I think the warm light in the other version is better. Do you have another image with this perspective but with the light of the alternate version ;-) The clouds here add a nice volatile mood to the picture. Also its really nice to see tiny seemingly trivial creatures head up than the usual head down approach. It suddenly makes them feel special.

I like both the images a lot. You have brought out day and night effect beautifully here. It was extremely awkward angle in which we were shooting this snail the other day. Considering the situation, this is just mind blowing image. Will remain in my memory for a long long time..

Ganesh, I liked other one due to diffrent lighting effect. It's like an evening light just before thunder, storm rain.

Excellent image! Liked the blue sky bg and the thin line of cloud at the upper part of the frame. Because they look very thin and have slight blackish touch to them(esp in the top left corner) they are adding a great mood to the image. The bluish touch in the central and bottom right part is imparting a soothing feel to the whole frame. The light on the plant is just fantastic. To be frank, for me the image is made without the snail itself! :-)
But I see a small dot in the right side space of the snail. That is intriguing a bit. Is that a dust spot or any flying object? :-O

You tend to produce some perspectives which we generally dont even think off. This is what i like a lot about your images. Your way of seeing is something which can never seize to fail. Am yet to make an image of a dragon fly in such a setting - and would take this image as an inspiration to do that.
