I noticed the spectrum in this particular angle - incidently that was an interesting angle and light to make an image of the spider too. Made this image Gudavi bird sanctuary. Thanks for your views..

This for me is once in a lifetime image, the optic illusion of the spectrum on a single thread of nature with its weaver as a subject and encapsulating all the colours of the spectrum works wonderfully well here. Nicely seen and above all nicely reproduced as seen, these shots are very difficult to portray what one sees.

Beautifully composed frame. Most of the times we would miss seeing such a sight.
Its a very well exposed frame. Am interested in knowing how you exposed it...

Kaushik, I used my light meter to get the accurate exposure in this case.

Ganesh. No words will do justice to this image. Its the best of the best. It just takes my breath away. As VMR put it its very difficult to portray what one exactly sees and you have not only seen it but captured it impeccability as well. Hats off to you sir and your skills. Lucky you did not have the wind blowing to render the subjects shake free. Do you mind sharing the lighting condition current to the time of this shot (early morning, Direct light/diffuse light, etc). Thanks so much for sharing it with us on this forum.

Ganesh, I really dont have words... I am in the field (I mean in the forest!) for more than a decade now, i have seen this many times. But every time when i tried to capture this i miserably failed. You have executed it perfectly. My full marks

One of the best I have ever seen. The fact that there is uniform black background puts lot of emphasis on the spectrum. amazing.
