Brilliant stuff. Shows the true realm of the winged beauties very well. The white fluffy clouds and a tangible solid ibis complement each other very well. But what really catches my attention is the sunlight coming through the birds wings.

Clouds for a beautiful frame in this image. Am bit confused as to would the image have looked better with the bird flying into the frame. But then like it as presented for the fact that there's diffused light from the left edge of the frame & the bird seems to be flying towards the light as though 'seeking' the light. The translucent light through the wings is really attractive as Sriharsha mentioned.

Ganesh, again an excellent image which works well. Out of the box thinking which provokes other photographers to think as well.

This is beautiful. Frame ending just before the harsh sun light makes this image for me! It was worth packing up our tele lenses!

I would have preferred this image without the border or with a different border.

wonderful shot, ganeshji. love the way you choose the perfect coloured bird & backlit angle to harmonize with the clouds patterns and that wide angle has its own impact. how about dodging a little the upper-right area?

Adithya, thanks for your views. Border may not be optimal for CNP's white bg, but I prepared this border for my web site and it seem to go very well here.

Not sure of the dodging Nevil. A little bit of flare can be still noticed above the bird, I tried to correct it in PS but still some trace of it is remaining..

Ganesh, Great one here ! Many of us would like open longer lenses as soon as we get into Rangantittu. Poor wide angle lenses will be hiding deep inside the bag. Every lense has it's role in photography only photo artist knows to how use them (like a successful director using the actors making them great).
