Colors in Nature
Since few days, I have been particularly impressed with a video that I watched over the internet about learning about better "designs" from nature. Whilst I made this image yesterday, the same video came back to my mind again and again. There are technologies that we need to harness, like nanotechnology to create biodegradable color dyes instead of the synthetic ones that are not, thus polluting and creating garbage in our own home!

Anyways, come back to creativity, just preferred a narrow DoF here, intentionally to emphasize on colors. This tiny grass blue was in this position for about couple of minutes thus giving me ample time to change my exposure for narrow DoF and get what I wanted. Am open to your views and critis.

lovely color man. The selective DOF plays nice here adding to the lovely picture. I liked the Blues in particular. I see some noise in the picture though

Beautiful image Pramod. Love the colors. I think being less aggressive on the sharpening will help this a lot, the portion in focus appears a bit oversharpened on my screen. This will help reduce the noise on the wings too ! Nice seeing here..

A nice perspective and a wonderful thought behind the image. With the progress technology is making - we will definitely see biodegradable dyes coming up in future.

Lovely use of DOF to emphasise on the main portion of the image.

Amazing seeing Pramod, infact I am also being affected by a particular mode or particular style of imagery from Nature, infact I would have loved to see the video you were mentioning.Post a link. I feel some parts of this image are hot, if you could have controlled it then it would have been more nice.

This is a fantastic image Pramod. The array of colors and the OOF wings and their alignment, everything is so pleasing. Agree with VMR on reducing the glare on certain hot spots in the image. Excellent execution and thanks for sharing.
