Thanks in advance for C & C.

On 5th day of the trek ( Kashmir Great lakes trek) ,after negotiating some really steep ascents & crossing tiring boulder section ,we reached Zaj pass ( Approx.13,300 feet) & on the other side of the ridge this is the surprise one can see-The twin lakes-Gangabal & Nandkol.
I tried in camera HDR image here.

Fantastic landscape and colors. The clouds may hide the top, but anyhow fits in well.

Thanks Nevilbhai and Anders wahlund.

The hidden peak is called Mount Harmukh ( 16870 feet)_,with Gangbal Lake at its foot, is considered a sacred mountain by Hindus. It is also known as 'Kailash of Kashmir'.
When I reached on the top of the pass ,it was clear of clouds but only for few minutes .

The imposing clouds look great. I remember how quickly the mood can change in the high Himalayan mountains . May be, may be BnW will also do justice :)

Art is about what is inside rather than what is outside
