Bhadra mood

Bhadra mood
As water recedes in the reservoir and the islands start to emerge the river terns try to pick and choose the islands, the early morning light was magical with trace of mist and haze. I like the symmetry of the island and the lone peacock with the river terns in the air. Pushed the WB to get some mood.

Amazing image VMR, feel like driving down to Bhadra tomorrow itself :)

The peacock though so tiny in the frame creates a very high visual impact. I think another angle without the forest in the back drop would have added to the frame ? I think white balance worked out very well. Thanks for sharing..

Just perfect VMR, the peacock and even the flying river terns contribute so much to the mood, love the colours too. Brilliant image as always :)

An amazing scape here. The peacock is adding on to the beauty. I was a regular visitor to Bhadra during my college days. Planning to visit since long but somehow not able to make it.

Even I feel like packing and driving up to Bhadra right away :)

This is a magical image and the presence of the peacock adds so much to the mood of this image. Awesome shot Sir. Love the subtle pink and full marks on the WB

Essence of the image is beautiful morning mood. Arc shaped land is unique element with dispersed birds. I would like to see without Mangroves (or island with trees) in the background, but I do not know the field conditions.

Cheers, Shankar Kiragi

xlnt VMR. I would have cropped a few pix from bottom and
i liked the trees in the bg as against Shankar's wish :) - taste differs - and thats one of the many things I like in this forum.

Simply terrific. Completely agree with Ganesh about the peacock's presence. In fact that is precisely what my eyes went straight to. Yes, the white balance is perfect, too. This is the most fresh-looking wide-angle image I've seen in some time. TFS!

Oh! Simplicity at its best and peacock is simply icing on the juicy cake! What a surreal scene. Agree with Ganesh about having a frame without the forest would create a fantastic image for a wall hanging!
