Wonderful image Ghanshyam! The lower leaf really sets this image apart with a touch tenderness. Congrats & TFS

Both are fabulous images IMO. May be due to dominant mid and dark tones, i get an eerie feel in Raj's image. Swaying motion adds to that stormy feel. Ganesh's images however is sort of reassuring, like a new day! Phenomenal detail i must add. TFS Raj & Ganesh!

Wonderful image Ganesh. No wonder these intricate designs in nature inspire so many jewellery makers. Just out of curiosity, is the really a lady in the BG? TFS

Thank you Ganesh, Ramde & Raj! Here is the colour version: [img:15rysuzx]https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49049058438_eb1c2ef7bf_o.jpg[/img:15rysuzx] Thought the B&W simplified the image a little bit and emphasised more on the rangoli design. Which one do you prefer?

Very nice low key image Tapan. Not sure if the negative space on the top half is adding much to the frame. TFS

Interesting image Ganesh! The more i look, the more restless i become! My eyes wonder all over the frame, not able to stay at one place. Is it due to resized web version? Would full resolution image give a different experience? Have i trained myself to look for some anchor in the frame all these years?

Beautiful and soothing colour Adithya. Focus is just enough to anchor and not overpowering the overall soft feel. Nicely done. TFS.

Thanks Nevil. If you closely look at the bottom of the light, you will see the tail of a 'gecko', which is under the impression that its hiding! Hence the title. [quote:q704ievi]Btw, do sharper elements fall in to 'impressionism' category?![/quote:q704ievi] When i was reading about Impressionism, i found the below sentence under its definition: "... emphasis on accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities (often accentuating the effects of the passage of time), ordinary subject matter ..." , so thought above image would fit. Even Vikas asked me the same question, now am confused! :-?

Nicely seen Vikas. To my taste, greens are slightly over powering, toning down a little bit might help. Loved the touch of pink on those waters. TFS.

Interesting image and thoughts Ganesh. For a second, i got reminded of few images of Nick Brandt's 'On this earth' series. On a lighter note, [quote:3qdm51g7] Kingfisher is Adithya's, fungus is mine [/quote:3qdm51g7] Do you really want fungus Ganesh?? :)

Thanks for the invite Akash! I agree with Ganesh on the BG bush. Also, only a few of those flowers would put the message across more clearly i feel. Good luck with your studies.
