Fantastic image Pratik. Your visualization has resulted in a wonderful image. The way ghostly forms fill the space between well define gulls is very interesting to look. Having two more in flight is a great addition to the frame. Fits the theme very well. TFS

A fine image Swapnil. DoF is very puzzling. Distant mountains add a lot to the frame. TFS

Very nice capture Jayesh. Opens up a lot of thoughts to try different, to be different, to break the flow, to be an outlaw (in a good way) . Thanks for sharing.

Such a strong image Anders! I get mixed feeling looking at the dead bird on a bed of flowers. Its graceful at the same time kind of sad. I have seem similar accidents with none fatal. If i may suggest, little separation (thin white line) between the two images might help. TFS

I too liked the earlier version Adithya. Although this is also very nice, subtlety and more minimalism of the earlier version appeals to me more.

Thanks Anders. [quote:39l3zllx]May be there is no need for rational, science, reason . Just be in awe / wonder/ helplessness / foolish / inadequate and let the image form in the mind in that space . Writing this as a larger topic not concerning Madhav alone. A think aloud note for myself as well. Thoughts ?[/quote:39l3zllx] Interesting question Raj. I think knowing everything would take away the awe. I doubt we will ever understand the complete nature in a 'scientific' way. A little bit of knowledge can also greatly add to the mystery and fascination towards the creature or creation. [youtube:39l3zllx]ZbFM3rn4ldo[/youtube:39l3zllx] Love to know your and others thoughts!

Thank you all! All credit should go to nature here. For the first 3-4 days, I could not figure out what to capture. Patterns on the nest was overwhelming to me. Only after a week, I was able to figure out what to capture. Tried my best to capture its grandeur, but I honestly feel there is room for improvement. @Prashanth: Lol, I agree with your suggestion. [quote:s9z6iob4] Do they just build to suit their needs and this pattern comes out as consequence? or do they prefer these layers in colors and shapes? We have much to discover, learn, and understand the secrets of nature.[/quote:s9z6iob4] I dont know the answer either. I'm sure there is some explanation / rational behind such patterns. From the internet I got to know that each striation is the work of an individual bee!! Sort like a signature. Like you and Ganesh said, there is much to discover and comprehend (aesthetically and scientifically).

Superb image Ganesh. This picture looks so raw and dare i say 'fresh'! Almost like looking down a window at the forest floor. Diffused light adds further to the frame. I applaud your effort in capturing this image Ganesh. It would be breath-taking to see this in a large print or a large display. TFS
