We the CNP members wanted to meet often. Due to the pandemic and as our members are spread across different regions, it was difficult to have CNP meet. We were having the print meets in Bangalore but the whole CNP meet was long pending. Most of the CNP meets were happening in Karnataka and this time Nevil came up with the suggestion to conduct the CNP meet in Gujarat. After evaluating different options, Nevil finalized the meeting at Nal Sarovar. The dates are finalised and Nevil, Jayesh and Ghanshyam start preparing for the meet.
Quite a few people registered for the meet and we were all excited to meet after a long time. Though there are some nth moment cancellations, there are still a good number of people reached for the meet.
The 3 days were a lot of fun, field visits and tons of information exchange.
It was nice to see many new faces and young members joining the meet. I hope everyone has enjoyed the meet and also benefited from the discussions. There were a lot of learnings for most of us while interacting with other members.
As a team we visited multiple places, photographing demoiselle cranes, common cranes, sarus cranes, fox pups and many more. The event and the rides were organised very well and there were no hiccups in any of those.

In a formal session, Nevil explained about the CNP team's roles and responsibilities and how the Image of Month, Highly commendable and monthly picks are chosen. A lot of effort goes into these events and a commendable job is done by the editorial committee.

We returned to Ahmedabad and watched the breathtaking Murmuration and that is the pleasant end of the meet.
