Postby Sriharsha Ganjam » Sat Jan 24, 2015 11:28 pm

Hi,

I am glad to invite you all to the launch of a 7 min video on cave exploration titled "Subterranean Landscapes" as a part of Confluence 2015, a photographic festival aimed to celebrate Indian Landscapes, on Feb 1st 2015 at National Gallery Of Modern Arts (NGMA) Bangalore. The video focuses on the beauty and challenges found while photographing caves. This will be followed by a photo exhibition featuring a few images from the expedition. We would also be highlighting the threats facing this sensitive eco system.

National Geographic Emerging Explorer, Sandesh Kadur would be the Key Note speaker for this event, talking about his experiences in the North East. We also have Rajesh Puttaswamaiah from Bat Conservation India Trust talk to us about the importance of Bats and the role caves play in their regard.

More details of the event can be found on the Facebook page at the link below. This is a free for all event with seating capacity for 160 Cave men & women!
