WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR - Contest is open!

Postby CNP Staff » Mon Oct 21, 2019 7:11 pm

Dear Friends,

Who has not heard of "Wildlife Photographer of Year (WPY)" competition?

The most prestigious nature and wildlife competition in the world is open for entries today, for the year 2020! Please visit this link to enrol your entries.

WPY contest is not new for many CNPians. Every October, CNPians have a tendency to eagerly watch the results to know who from CNP have made it for the year! During last few years it has become a norm to see photographers from CNP in the list of winning/commended entries. This is really heartening considering the intense competition from across the globe. The awards ceremony that happens at Natural History Museum, London is truly magical.

Jury typically will look for rare natural history moments or a very creative, artistic imagery. Creative and artistic visions are DNA of every CNPian. It is not at all a surprise to see CNPians in the winning list very often!!

During last year we have also added many more very talented photographers to the family. We would love to see more winners next year!! If you need any help in selection, critique please reach out the some of the CNP members who have experience in selection/preparing images etc.

Last but not least, WPY is contest conducted by NHM, London, a non-profit organisation dedicated nature conservation.

Please take a few minutes to watch these videos. In this one below, we can see our Raviprakash SS on the stage!

Please check these video clips to learn more about the competition!
