Folks,
It would be good to preview the text and images before we submit. A nice to have feature.
hmmm..and I see that there is a preview button for this forum...but not for images upload.

The gallery in this forum is a separate module (what is called phpBB MOD). You are right, preview will add to the user experience, which is absent now for the image gallery but as you said is available for discussion forums. This MOD is actively being worked on by open source community. We hope to bring in more features as and when they become available. As on now ability to edit what we post should take care of some of those needs.
