Tharangini, I think this version is more abstract than the color version and works better (for my taste buds).

Thank you sir. The monochrome does have its own magic. I retained the color version only because I felt the color connected with the word 'hope' more. I had actually spent a lot of time staring at both versions before posting the color one. :-)

Tharang, I agree with Ganesh on this. As you said in color the hope is more evident or one can connect word hope with color instantly but in monochrome hope becomes timeless :) It's fine not to agree :)
