Reach out!
Getting close to a subject with a wide angle in your hand sometime yields some interesting perspectives. On that morning the light was gentle and got this opportunity.

Photographed it standing with one leg on the swamp and the other on the root of the tree! ;)
It was an interesting pose ;)

I would have to make an image of you in wide angle while you were making this image :). I love these kind of images and I think you have carried it out a very nice way. What wide angle lens is it ?

Bhattre: Liked the perspective. I'm trying to imagine your pose ;)
I think this would have been better than this with some cloud patterns in the sky.

thanks friends!
@Nilanjan - I used Tokina 12-24 f/4 to make this one. Used 12mm @ f/16 and 1/400 manually metered.

@RD - yes. I wish I had some cloud pattern in the sky! :( That would have been a bonus!

Nice perspective here Ashwin! It looks like a beheaded dancer in long skirt.
More than that I love the form as presented. It has more than one centers of appeal but can't lay my hands on them right now; one of the intriguing aspects of form study.

I love the attempt here. Wide angle as I start to use more often seems to be one charming perspective. I feel if the focus was more on the foreground element it would lead us more into the frame.

I love the angle and result is worth the effort. It reminds me of a character from Lord of the Rings.
