The Shadow of Time
I was told this tree is more than 150 yrs old and nobody really knows its origin story.
But why was I looking for its origin story? After all I have seen 1000's of trees and I don't go asking about their origin???
And that's when the answer struck me,
Similar to how the sun going behind pushes our shadows in front of us,
In this landscape time flows backwards pulling us with it, and anything the land owns is but a shadow of that time pushing forward!!!

Nice visual, Harsha. I think the image would have worked even without the actual tree in the upper part of the frame. I think that way, the image would have told a story more in line with the feelings you wanted to convey - i.e. the remnants of the temple is just like the fleeting shadows of the past..

Love the way shadow compliments the real trees, Harsha.
