Having born and brought in these areas I can relate to those monsoon wetness and lush green lines. Diagonal lines and subtle light makes it for me. May be just a bit more sharpness would add further ? May be ok on LCD/LED (I am seeing this on CRT). You may try B&W too with emphasizing green channel during conversion. Very nice seeing here PV! Excellent intimate landscape image! The lines and the greens along are the heart of this image. I think the image can stand a bit more sharpness. As presented it looks a tad soft.

This image does have a monsoon feel to it. Simply love the greens and the intermittent shadows. Reminds me of the treks in past in the western ghats.

Saw this in office but i was rearing to come back home and see this on a proper monitor (i know i was not wrong)
Just love the feel in the image. Wetness, Greens, Lines makes the image really strong contender for a perfect monsoon image.
I would def second others views on tad addition in sharpness and also a chance to play around with composition to avoid the dark region on bottom left and emphasizing on more greens on top right.
