Run to you!!!
there is a saying which goes like this - you don't have to teach a fish how to swim. But sometimes nature questions that very inherent ability of yours with its challenges..
I saw these fishes migrating towards the upstream of the river, which was not just tough, but very straining too. If you don't land in the right place, you will be carried away to a place much behind where you started by the strong currents of water!! In spite of all these conditions they did not stop trying and the lucky ones make it to their destinations.

I had no way to get down near the stream to make an eye level flight of these fishes. Hence i visualized this image in mind of a fish just coming out of water moments before making the jump.

Dear Doc,
I made this image on the banks of river kaveri, near Mekedatu which lies at the Karnataka border..
since there was no way to get down to the bottom, had to sit at the edge of the cliff with a 300mm pointing at the river and waiting for the fishes to jump..
I am not sure whether the image conveys the actual meaning of jump to the viewers or not, but it still results in an unusual perspective which i like :)
hope you like it too..
