Nice Image Samyak, I like the way tree sprouts out of the water (would have been better without that big log but that is something you cannot avoid) and the birds activity the background. I am not sure if its the contrast but something is missing to get still a better mood of the situation.

And this image kind of represents my state sometimes... away from the crowd and in deep thoughts which is usually void

You are almost there with this shot. It has a washed out feel about it. try reworking contrasts.
