Barcode of Dhikala
It was an attempt to make decent image using my tilt type lens :-) which has limitation for long distance focussing. Full frame on DX format using 28mm lens.

I remember these trees well. Nice 'seeing' here and very different perspective, tilt view. Thanks for sharing.

Shankar, you know what I loved about this image ? That it does not physically look like the dead stumps that we have been seeing in Dhikala for as long as the memories can go back, it though invokes strong compositional strategies but it was really time to come out of it visually. The stumps in your image very much invoke the sense of nature's survival within an invisible cage of human needs....beautifully done Sir !!! My Compliments for such a strong image.

Shankar, knowing a little about you, i strongly urge you to spend your time with art than your regualr job. I know i cannot advise or command, I know i can request.
Such creations from Dhikala, i have not seen Dhikala, makes me feel, if i ever visit, i will be emotionally attached to it for life.

Stumped by this frame Shankar. Love the way stumps are merged with the sky, especially first one with Y shape.

You spoke my words RD :-), Shankar is just so natural, his subtle creations are so strong, they grow with moment and cover the entire mind so deeply. Undoubtedly am one his biggest fan.....yes, I too second RD's thoughts that soon Shankar should start planning his second innings.........:-)

Brilliant perspective of these `signature Dhikala' trees ! & very very apt `Title'...

Shankar,

What an image mate !
Simple, elegant, sublime, inspiring !
Looks like some kinda "stonehenge" to me :-)

Strongly second RD's comment below !

I got a song running in my head on seeing this image, an old Steve Miller Band number - "Keep on Rocking me Baby" !
