Lovely Lady
I'd made a portrait of her at twilight, and here she is again in a different avatar. To me, she was the most beautiful lady i've ever seen ~ her ears, the domes on her head, her heavily pregnant body ... they were all perfect. But what stayed with me was her gentleness. And through this series, i wanted that quality to shine through.

Hey Arati.. I love the way you have processed these images, there is a certain softness to them and that compliments her beauty :) Motion is captured very well too..
However, I think I would like this better if the dome of the head was not cropped out. It feels slightly constricted to me, more so because the image has a border.

Thanks :)

Bingo, radha - that is what i struggled with, in processing these (crop). I loved the domes, wanted to leave them in, but somehow i felt that the impact of the motion diminished a bit. that said, i am going to look at it again ~ and see if there is some way i can make it work. Will send it to you ~ tell me what you think.

thanks for the comment, helps heaps to see things through others' eyes.

To radha's point, here is the first image in the triptych, including the domes...

I love this version Arati :) The dome of the head adds to the motion around the ears and those delicate strands of grass around the legs are lovely!

I can't take my eyes away from this lady you have in the bottom of the page :-), wish I was a Tusker in musth...hahahahahahahaha, but tell me did you intentionally focus behind the trunk on the legs ? I would have loved this image even if that little area too was not in focus...lovely processing too, love that hint of grass on the left of the lady here....However am not really very convinced about these three images combining to form a triptych....never mind, that's just my thought, thanks for showing me my lady love for my next life :-).

hahahaha - hilarious comment. i can only say, line mein lag jao, nilanjan da. she was truly beautiful.
yes, i focused on the stationary legs since the head was moving so much and in twilight there was no hope of another focus. maybe some time later, i will give this lovely lady another post on CNP...

So interesting about the triptych - it does not seem to have struck a nerve with anyone :)
i would love to know what people are thinking ...

I saw you posted single image, before I open that you deleted that. Was it the same image you posted in comment? I liked the single image. Triptych is not working for me too.
