Great image RD I feel the image would be much more stronger without the bird as well, by the way where was this?

Receding lines and the Graphic deer is wonderful. Not sure of the bird adds .

Ripples and fine definition clubbed with centered composition pulls it off. While the image would have worked without the bird too, I like the fact that the head of the bird being *not* visible. That brings a fine variation enabling modest drift of thoughts. To me bird works like salt my food :)

An excellent image here RD..

Thanks friends,
I have given the link in image description of the image with no bird. That image looks really great on a print, 18x24 :)

When my wife looked at his image, she said in there should have been a tiger right behind the deer and the presence of the bird and caption would have been apt.

excellent image RD sir...ripples and tones both are making this image for me....
Just a wish, how about a composition of bird in extreme right and deer on the extreme left of the frame??? :)

Same location, same subject, Same pose.. But two different images! Parallel lines are just too good here.
And your wifes suggestion about tiger looks apt.. Wish you get to shoot that scene in future :)

Loved the lines, not sure if the bird flying out of the frame works here.
