Pramod,, i love the trail of indentations in the sand..that recreate the path that the leaf would have traversed.. ..lifted..landed..twirled ...flown..turned topsy turvy..moved forward and back and finally bared itself to the light...and rested in the shadows.. a very poetic image..

This is a beautiful frame & seriously you dont need to write much, the image speaks.

Pramod, I would have titled just 'Wind' .

Trail of the time etched on the sand ? The dead leaf seem to gain life in this creation. Waves on the sand makes a nice background canvas and flows well with the theme. I would gently loose details on the leaf. Personally I would not like to decipher its structure and would love to spend time thinking about the trail and the over all context. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, very fine seeing here. Makes me very philosophical and RD's title makes it more philosophical. The pattern of the trail is like a scribblings of a child, a child who is far more mature than us and knows to read those scribblings.

great image......for my eyes those marks shows the life, where it grows till its middle age and then starts diminishing.
even if you had kept it untitled, emotions that we get would have been same

The wind has also created minute mountains of sand which impresses me a lot. If this was just a leaf swept away without the effect on sand it would have had such an impact. Nice thought and execution.

Thank you all for your view and thoughts. Really heartening.

The inspiration for me to capture this scene came from what we all undergo in life - problems.
I was compelled by these thoughts:
The leaf belongs somewhere and its direction is decided by the wind | As neelu said, topsy turvy roller coaster ride in life adds dynamism and so to the traverse of this leaf | And finally it has landed here resting for a while . . . it is already old and almost dead but will of the wind takes it away.

Excellent capture, Pramod! Like the impressions created by leaf. Texture, dry leaf, light everything is making this such a beautiful creation. Just curious whether you have the same subject taken from an angle say 45 degree? However this is good as is. TFS
