Working in every possible way for me Abhisek. I love the unison you visualized. The word " Paired " is written all over the image. You have used the frame so well, the curves, the shadows are just marvelous. Beautiful composition my dear. To top it all, these are your first Sarus encounter ever....unimaginable :-).

"Paired" should indeed be the title, as Dada mentioned... while I was going completely blank on what to make seeing them live in action, you were very busy making images.. good work buddy. Personally I would have preferred a slightly lesser de-focus, but this one also works well...

Love the curves Abhisek, personally I would prefer a tad more structure/definition with a little less saturated tones. Square is pleasing I think..

Abhisek, i like the curves, the framing. but i would like to understand why (and how) you choose the amount of definition in your subject. So when you look through the viewfinder, what makes you decide how much to blur? our individual tastes may differ from yours ... that is of little consequence to you, the creator... but would love to understand what went on in your mind as you made this frame.

Abhisek, can we try to take a step more aggressive ? :-). Can you crop the head out and see ? Man, it gave me goose bumps. For me I guess, the image has the hint that was required to let the imagination grow. A bit more of definition might have made it a little better sarus image but for me the image is conveying something much deeper than that. This image very very strongly denotes a pair's unison and space. Now, am inclined to convert the image to a stronger abstract. Ganshi....just roll down the frame and see it in a way such that the black heads are not visible anymore. The frame starts with unison and ends with the required amount of space ( as in any relation ). Working ??? More definition would shift the imagination of this relation to the sarus. Let's visualize only the relation and not the relation of the Sarus....making sense ??? Your thoughts Ganshi...

While the colors, curves, blur work well for me, i would have liked a less saturated or a different tone.
Nilanjan's crop suggestion is interesting, i have one similar to that.

Thanks everyone for your views!!
Arati...honestly i cannot explain why and how i choose the degree of blur...its more of the feel that you get while seeing thru the view finder and playing with the MF...more often than not it wud go wrong with viewers ...as evident from the recent beatings i have received :)

N'Da...as i had been telling you it will definitely take a few more years...and not just a few more grey hairs but probably a completely bald head before i can start thinking as aggressively of a frame as yours !! thanks a lot for showing the direction...
