Green revolution
A leaf, I found to be interesting near a pond. Love to know your comments.
Not sure about the category I'm posting this image within CNP :) I guess I have still have not reached the stage where I can define/defend my work as art and hence posted here to be safe.
Experts kindly help.

Thanks and Regards,
RAJESH MKrish

Hi Rajesh,
You've got an intriguing form here. It's a leaf, a spiral or dna imprint. What all can one form mutate into depending upon our perspective. It is said that an object is not the occasion but the reason for the photograph. Your take on a leaf truly echoes this sentiment. To me the picture might have more layers once converted to b&w. Worth a try?
Thanks for sharing

Hi Nirlep.. thanks for your thoughts. Yes I agree on the layers and a sort of high keyness - I was about to post the b/w version of this until the last moment and changed my mind :)
Want to understand the actual situation and the thinking that goes when we make an image.. I was bent upon getting a leaf image that should be unique and that was it. It was only when I saw it on my screen, my mind could think of all the abstracts as you mentioned. Does that stage of thinking on abstracts before making an image comes out of experience? or is it that the artist in you has not woken up yet? :)
