A Raindrop's Creation
I noticed an interesting phenomenon while shooting raindrops on my window. These weird designs and lines would turn up when I shot bokeh through raindrops. In addition, dust like disturbances could be seen in the bokeh itself. This was probably due to the refraction of light and limitations of the lens but I loved the effect and came up with this. The other vertical obstruction in the bokeh is a branch of a plant. I felt it broke the monotony in the image and added some mystery as to the bokeh's identity and hence decided to include it.

Really intrigued seeing this. What's the texture on the rain drop? Is it a rain drop or is it a rain drop?
Thanks for sharing
Am thoroughly confounded till you explain more

Ganesh sir - I, too, first thought that the bokeh will look like the moon and hence a little boring to capture. But when I saw the dust-like disturbances in the bokeh, it gave the image a different dimension. I, myself am still inquisitive as to what produced these irregularities.

Nirlep sir - Thank you. The image basically has a total of three layers. The first and closest is the water drops which gives the lined pattern effect around the bokeh. The second is the branch of the plant and the third, finally, is the bokeh and the irregularities created within it due to the raindrops in the first layer. Glad you liked it. :)
